Why speedyellow

Built different. Built for automotive.

Industry Knowledge

We speak automotive.

10+ years of hands-on automotive digital work — not generalist agency experience repackaged for the industry. We know the terminology, the sales cycle, the visual language, and what actually moves customers in this space.

Car Culture Fluency

Built for enthusiasts.

Understanding the culture is the difference between content that lands and content that gets scrolled past. We're not translating — we're native speakers.

Operator Experience

We've run the accounts.

Full digital ownership across brands — ecomm, Google Shopping, Amazon, social, automation. The strategy we give you comes from running real programs, not from a textbook.

Systems Thinking

Structure over tactics.

We build digital infrastructure, not one-off deliverables. Every engagement is designed to compound — so what we build in month one is still working for you in year three.

Single Contact

One person. All of it.

You're working directly with RJ — the person who owns the strategy, the builds, and the relationships. No coordinators. No account managers in the middle.

Automation-First

Less manual. More leverage.

Where repetitive work can be systematized, we systematize it. That means your team spends time on what matters and your digital presence runs consistently without constant babysitting.

Foundations

Done-for-you website and ecomm builds.

Built on Webflow or Shopify. Scoped, priced, and delivered without the typical agency back-and-forth.

Why speedyellow

What makes this different.

We know the industry.

Not in a “we’ve worked with automotive clients before” way. In a “we’ve built ecomm for wheel brands, grown racing media to six figures, and understand what a detailer’s customer actually searches for” way. That context changes how we work.

Lean by design.

One operator. A vetted contractor network for fulfillment. No bloated team billing you for internal meetings. Work gets done by the people who sold it.

No retainer-and-ghost.

Every Presence retainer has a defined cycle — strategy, content, delivery, reporting. You know what’s happening and when. If something isn’t working, we say so.

“The studio built for automotive. Not adapted to it.”

discovery call — no pitch

Before you reach out

A few things worth knowing.

The background

10+ years in automotive digital — operator-side, not agency-side. Currently running full digital for a multi-brand automotive wholesale operation. That context shows up in the work.

The model

Client count is intentionally limited. Work gets done by the person who sold it — not handed off to a coordinator you've never met.

The process

Every engagement starts with a 30-minute discovery call. No pitch, no pressure. If it's not a fit, we'll say so.

Common questions

Before you reach out.

Do I need to be local to work with you?

No. Most of our work is fully remote — strategy, builds, content management, and ongoing presence work all happen over shared tools and video calls. Photography and video production are the exception: owner-shot work is available locally in Holland, MI and for select travel. For everything else, location doesn't matter.

What if I don't have photos or content yet?

We work with what you have. Most shops start with limited assets and we'll tell you honestly what's workable versus what's worth investing in before we start. For Foundations builds, we can use strong stock photography as a placeholder and update it once real photos are available. For Presence, your work-in-progress shots and before/afters are often better than anything staged.

How long does a Foundations build take?

Core builds typically run 4–6 weeks from kickoff to launch. Plus and RS builds depend on scope — generally 6–12 weeks. Timeline is defined in the proposal before you commit. The biggest variable is how quickly you can review and approve at each milestone, not our production speed.

Can I start with Presence and add a website later?

Yes, and it's a common path. Some shops have a serviceable site and want to work on their content and social first — that's a perfectly reasonable starting point. We'll flag if your existing site is actively working against you, but there's no requirement to bundle everything at once.

What happens after my Foundations project launches?

You get a handoff call, documentation, and training on how to manage your site day-to-day. There's a 30-day support window post-launch for any issues that surface. After that, add-on support is available as needed — we don't lock you into a retainer to keep the lights on.

Do you work with businesses outside the automotive industry?

Occasionally, for the right project. The honest answer is that our background and context are specifically automotive, which is why the work is better for shops in this space. If you're outside the industry and what you need maps cleanly to what we do, reach out — but we'll be upfront if we're not the best fit.

How is Presence different from just hiring a social media person?

A few ways. First, we bring strategy and structure, not just execution — you get content planning, calendar building, and analytics review alongside the posting. Second, you're not managing another hire. Third, the work is built around how automotive businesses actually operate — seasonal capacity, visual-forward content, and a customer base that makes decisions differently than other industries.

What's the minimum commitment?

Foundations projects are fixed-scope and one-time — no ongoing commitment once the build is done. Presence retainers have a 3-month minimum, which is the point at which content strategy starts to compound and you'll have real data to evaluate. After the initial term, it's month-to-month.
